Meet our Trainers

 

Dana Swift, Personal Training Director, NSPA, NASM-CSCS, Certified Kinesis Instructor.

Dana has her BS in Education and has been in the Health and Fitness Industry for nearly a decade. Her training philosophy centers on her desire to educate people to live healthy lifestyles. She accomplishes this by designing comprehensive programs that are unique to each individual, with an emphasis on sound nutritional choices.


Dana believes in coaching safe and effective techniques through functional exercise, core strengthening, and back health conditioning. Her experience ranges from working with individuals with mobility limitations to competitive athletic training.

Dana Gramling, ACE-Personal Trainer, AAHFP-Post Rehabilitation Specialist, Certified Kinesis Instructor.

Dana has twenty years of full time experience in the fitness industry. He has trained athletes of all ages and programmed specialized workouts for seniors and sports enthusiasts alike. Dana has also managed and directed post-rehab departments for physicians and physical therapists. He was a strength and conditioning coach for the 2000 Sidney Olympics and competed in power-lifting while attending Towson State University. Dana has worked with such diverse groups and is committed to nurturing and supporting his clients while creating a fitness and lifestyle program that is uniquely their own.

Roxanna Hernandez.

Roxanna is our latest and greatest new personal trainer. She is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is a recent honors graduate with a master’s degree in exercise with a concentration in strength and conditioning. Bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College in Health and Exercise Sciences. She has been working in the fitness industry for the past six years, designing aquatic programs for kids and adults with special needs (autism and cerebral palsy). She has also designed strength and conditioning program for the men’s and women’s water polo teams while attending George Washington.


As a trainer she likes to use both traditional and functional resistance training in order to strengthen the muscles and incorporate interval training to order to maximize calorie burn and overall improving one’s cardio fitness.  Please contact the front desk to book an appointment with Roxanna and receive the August promotional packages.
